Coir Fibre Manufacturer and Exporter in India

Baled coir fibre from our own extraction line

Every coconut husk yields two products. The fine pith becomes cocopeat; the long fibre separated from it becomes coir fibre. Both come off the same line at our facility in Peravurani, which means the fibre we bale is traceable to the same husk intake as our substrate.

Coir fibre from our own extraction line

Long fibre is separated on our defibring line, aligned, and pressed into bales on site.

Coir fibre is durable, resistant to rot and salt water, and biodegradable, which is why it is used for everything from erosion-control matting to upholstery to substrate blending.

Because the fibre and the pith come off the same husk intake, a bale is traceable to the same intake record as the substrate produced alongside it.

Schematic: loose fibre, aligned fibre, compressed bale. A Phase 5 animation will replace this drawing.

Applications

Coir fibre applications: erosion control, substrate and industrial

  • Erosion control and geotextiles Coir matting and netting hold soil on slopes and riverbanks while vegetation establishes, then break down naturally instead of leaving synthetic mesh behind.
  • Substrate blending Added to growing media to improve structure and resist compaction over a long crop cycle.
  • Horticultural products Liners for hanging baskets and planters, and pole and stake wrapping.
  • Industrial and consumer goods Rope, brushes, matting, and upholstery filling where a resilient natural fibre is required.

Coir fibre ships alongside our substrate products in a mixed container, or as a dedicated load.
